This review site is obviously out of date. gayromeo no longer exists and is called Planetromeo. It's a good site, once you learn how to navigate it. It is free with many free benefits and you have the option to upgrade. You can view, chat and reply to messages easily, unlike most sites that require you to pay just to reply or contact someone, even though they say they are free. I would recommend this site.

In summary, I would recommend Gay Romeo to a friend.

Extremely well designed site run by people who care.
As a member you can contribute to the running of the site in various ways which gives it a bit of a co-operative feel.
The way the site operates does take a bit of getting used to with various menus. You can however tailor the toolbar to suit.
Predominantly english speaking european database. They have a great policy of suspending accounts that have been dormant for 6months meaning your searches are not cluttered with useless dead accounts.
Big thumbs up. Probably my favourite contact site 2013.

I've been with Gay Romeo for awhile now. It's a good site, but my main problem with Gay Romeo is how they handle scammers. They tell you to report scammers and have a legitimate reason why you feel that the person(s) is a scammer. I just recently reported a person being a scammer-had the proof from an email that he sent me asking for $1800 (I always thought that requesting money on the internet was illegal anyway). I showed it to the administration on there, and they emailed me back and said there was nothing they could do! Wtf?! All they told me to do was block him (which I did). Why should a person even bother reporting scammers if that's all they're going to tell you to do? I mean, I sent them proof that he was a scammer, and they did absolutely nothing about it. Thankfully, I'm a free member, because if I were a paying member, I would have felt that I've wasted money. Otherwise, it's a good site, but they have to do better about handling scammers.
