Almost no one on this platform look like their photo or are located where they say they are. Many who say they in a western country are actually in Eastern Europe, Russia, or Africa. Or they're in the service overseas. Reverse photo search on Google brings up photos from Pinterest or other.

Also interesting how many of them want you to invest in digital currency with them on scam sites.

Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

In summary, I would not recommend Only Lads to a friend.

Read—-Beware ALL! Only Lads has LOTS of Russian Twink (18-28 yr old) romantic scammers! I met named Ivan Lampa aka or Ivan Baronov 23, then said 25. Someone who seemed nice, then he said let’s go to email. If I only knew, this was the start of trouble. We chatted via email, once a day for over two months. It started with getting to k ow you, then moved to his romantic connections, sending typical outdoor and common photos. Then after two months, he said he wanted to leave Russia, as it was not gay friendly he had no friends. He said he wanted to move to me and become my partner, BUT he said he did not have the necessary at funds for a Tourist Visa, could I help! First it was $2800 for airfare, medical, and visa. Then he said he needed $5000 to show he had enough funds for the 99 day trip. I said how about you dad or aunt, no they had little. The kicker was he said the U.S. Embassy rep had made an error, and he needed 3K more (8K) total, it sounded larking, then I looked on US Embassy website about fraud... (Read the full review)

Features are extremely limited & for no reason whatsoever, after I logged out the last time I used the site, a notification was displayed on my screen, indicating that I had to log back into the website. So....when I logged back into their website, I was greeted with this message :

"Your profile had been temporarily suspended and is currently queued for attention from one of our staff members. This could be for one of many reasons but it's usually triggered by one of our automated systems that helps keep our service as safe as possible. We have a dedicated team working through the queue so they should get to your account shortly, please do not contact our support team about this matter as they are unable to prioritize your account. We apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."

So I'm "temporarily suspended" for whatever bogus reason & they're stating "please do not contact our support team about this matter...". So glad I didn't pay for a membership. Not worth it. Imagine paying them and being treated like this? Where you can't even contact their Support Team? LOL.

I currently have a civil lawsuit against a Russian man named Maxim evengivich and his Georgian partners in crime. This site is for grifters, scam artist and nuts jobs. Everyone writes you eventually after trying to get your confidence that their parents died, they are now a prisoner of war, they have been raped, they are in prison and new bail money, they were arrested for something or their parents were. It is the old kingler on mash TV show trying to get out of the army. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

I have had only scammers reach out to me on this site - probably around 30 of them so far! All use fake photos, all claim to come from somewhere different and most turn out to be Russian, Ukranian or similar. The modus operandi is the same or similar in all cases - they get you to provide an email address, then flood you with ‘over the top’ emails about how wonderful you are, then comes the hard luck stories and then obviously the request for financial assistance. Now I simply respond by saying I don’t do email (they hide behind anonymous gmail accounts) and invite them to give me their mobile numbers for whatsapp messaging. Most don’t respond. Quite a number claim that their phones are ‘broken’, and a few actually provide a number. In all cases the number is obviously Russian and not from where they claim to live. I’m seriously appalled by all of this and shudder to think how many people must have been duped out of their money out there!

I encountered 2 guys trying to scam me. 1 was from Russia with San Francisco listed on his profile. Reply's were very similar to people that have tried to SCAM me in the past.

2nd A guy Stephan that said to me he was in the US Army and that he indicated he had deployed to Nigeria and 2 days later he was spending the weekend in Pittsburgh.

I'm 69 but do not trust Lad's

This site is a wast of time they suspend users for no reason I was suspended 3 times in a week and they give you no reason for suspension and there team are a joke, if you are considering joining I wouldn't .
you go to talk to a member as you send it it kick you out tell you oops please sign in again then they tell you your account has been temperately suspended and are in a Que to be delt with by there admin team which takes days and the bang back to square one all over again no help from there team no exasperation on how to stop it happening again total shit

There is no good points to put in this review. This site is total crap, majority of guys have created profiles with no pictures and some are underage and others are fake profiles using other guys identities. Nobody checks this site. I have written numerous emails to management and have gotten no response. Best advice save your time and money and avoid this site.
