With instant messenger and webcam options, this site also offers a variety of ways to communicate with this mass of man!

Diversity is key on this site. You can choose to browse profiles based on a range of particulars, including the sort of guy you want to meet. In particular you can view profiles which are focused on athletic, bear, average, daddy, twink, cub, otter, chub, circuit or muscle men. Free members are highly restricted in their searches though and to open up more advanced options you’ll need to pay for membership. However, prior to paying you will still be able to view profiles and photos. You can also rate photos so that others can get an idea of what you think of them, or so other members can check out the sort of men you’re into. As well as the basic information and profile pictures, members can also tell you what their fantasies are and the sort of relationship they are looking for. The site also calculates how well matched you are to any member, which you’ll see in a check-list on their profile. This is a good way of quickly establishing whether or not you might get on, without even having sent a message.

When we were online we were informed that there were over 50,000 profiles in our area, which was very reassuring. Of course not all of these profiles are going to be active but it seemed like a decent amount of them had taken the time to upload good photos and to fill in information on their profile. If you find a few men who take your fancy then you’ll probably want to pay for membership so that you can contact them. Silver members are able to view and contact all members, as well as reply to emails. They can use the instant messaging chat feature and get a 100 day guarantee. Meanwhile, upgrading to a gold package works out cheaper if you take out a year-long contract. The gold membership allows your profile to appear in top listings in searches, access to hardcore porn and the ability to access members’ webcams. As such the gold membership will appeal to anyone who’s looking to get a bit of online action with hot guys from around the globe.

Over all we were impressed by the number of profiles on ManPlay. It’s a little more expensive than other sites, though, and despite its claims of variety we found that it lacked some of the features we’d expect to find – and do find – on our top rated gay dating sites.
